On the evening of September 1st, a suspected kidnapping occurred in an apartment near the MOA business district in Pasay City, Philippines. A 33-year-old Chinese man, Song Hao, was illegally detained by two compatriots and threatened with a stun gun and a sharp knife, with 15,000 pesos in cash stolen from him.
The victim managed to send a message to a friend asking for help, who immediately called the police. The police acted swiftly, successfully rescuing the hostage at the scene and arresting a 37-year-old suspect, Li Mou, while seizing the stun gun and knife.
The case has now been handed over to the investigative department, and another suspect who is still at large is being pursued. The police remind everyone to call 911 immediately in emergencies, as it is crucial for timely intervention and preventing greater harm.
