Despite legal prohibition, Cambodia's online gambling industry is still booming, causing concerns

The Commercial Gambling Management Commission (CGMC) has taken action to crack down on illegal gambling activity, shutting down a large number of online advertising and promotions. However, enforcement remains challenging as these sites continue to cater to Cambodian gamblers with little fear of legal consequences.
