Rush Street Interactive (RSI) has announced the launch of its RushBet platform in Peru.
The move is aimed at expanding RSI's presence in Latin America, tapping into a market of more than 30 million people.
This new business launch in Peru is an important step in RSI’s Latin America strategy and will consolidate its existing operations in Colombia and Mexico.
The expansion enables the company to optimize its Latin American operations by sharing resources across multiple countries, a move designed to increase operational efficiency and long-term growth in the region.
Commenting on the move, RSI CEO Richard Schwartz said: “Our expansion into Peru is a key step in our journey to become the leading online gaming operator in the Americas.
“This move allows us to leverage our proven operating expertise in Latin America, specifically the brand equity and operating efficiencies we have built in the region over the past six years.
"Importantly, Peru shares a significant media market with Colombia. As such, Peruvian sports fans are familiar with the brand through RushBet's presence on shared television networks such as ESPN and DirectTV."
Peru’s RushBet platform is designed to provide a customized experience based on local preferences, including social elements such as player-to-player chat and multiplayer tournaments.
It also offers a range of casino games, proprietary promotional tools and a sportsbook covering major global sporting events as well as local leagues.
