BetMGM has exclusive rights to operate within the two blocks surrounding Nationals Park and operates the sportsbook in partnership with the Washington Nationals. The company's app integrates with MGM Resorts and Marriott Bonvoy rewards programs, allowing users to redeem gaming experiences at a variety of venues.
The launch will expand BetMGM's presence in the DMV area, where the company already operates in Maryland and Virginia. BetMGM’s expansion is expected to bring economic benefits to the region through job creation and tax revenue.
The company has invested in local community projects, including the National Cherry Blossom Festival and the Capitol Riverfront Friday Night Concert Series.
The BetMGM app is available for download on iOS and Android platforms, as well as via desktop. New customers can get first-time bet offers, while existing users can check the app to see what promotions are available.
Earlier this month, BetMGM partnered with Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur to become an official betting partner and have its logo emblazoned on the club's training jerseys.
