Digital game supplier Playson has further penetrated the Peruvian market, receiving approval from the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR) to obtain a B2B supplier license.

With this latest development, Playson now has licenses in seven national jurisdictions, including Greece, Romania, Singapore and the United Kingdom.

This major push into Peru will further strengthen the supplier’s position in the emerging market of Latin America as the company is in a period of expansion, having first entered the Peruvian market in June through a partnership with Boyle Sports.

This summer has been busy for Playson. In June this year, the company also reached a number of partnerships in continental Europe, establishing partnerships with Sweden's Premier Gaming, Italy's Sportbet and Spain's Luckia. Now it needs to adapt its offering for Peruvian players to solidify its position in Latin America.

Playson Chief Commercial Officer Tamas Kusztos commented: “Securing a license in Peru is an important strategic move as we work to bring more engaging experiences to players in new markets. .The Peruvian market is one of the most promising in the Latin America region and we look forward to occupying a significant position in the country.”

In February of this year, Peru became the fourth Latin American jurisdiction to fully regulate its online gambling market. Since then, Peru’s online gambling market has been active, while the overall landscape in Latin America has also undergone significant changes, with Brazil following closely behind and issuing regulations regarding the legalization of online gaming.
