The US state of New Hampshire has issued an operating license to fantasy sports operator PrizePicks.
The state is now PrizePicks’ 35th U.S. market in which it operates, demonstrating the fantasy operator’s growth in the United States.
Previously, Atlanta-based PrizePicks partnered with Bayes Esports to advance the fantasy game and incorporate official live tournament data into its operations.
PrizePicks offers fantasy sports games like Arena, which is currently live in nine jurisdictions and has seen more than 100,000 players create more than 2 million lineups since January. In the game, players can compete with each other to win different prizes.
“We are excited to offer our skill-based fantasy products to sports fans in the Granite State,” commented Adam Packer, PrizePicks’ senior vice president of legal and compliance.
“We appreciate the New Hampshire Lottery Commission’s close collaboration with us.”
Back in June, PrizePicks CEO Adam Wexler revealed exclusively on Huddle that the company was on the verge of bankruptcy during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Now that PrizePicks has expanded to 35 operating markets, things don’t seem so bad…
