Worcestershire County Cricket Club has struck a deal with online betting platform Dafabet.
The multi-year partnership will see Dafabet become the lead sponsor of the Worcestershire live service, which has racked up nearly 14 million views globally over the past two years.
Dafabet has reached agreements with a number of sports clubs in the past, including AFC Bournemouth Football Club, Norwich City Football Club, Leicester City Football Club, etc.
In the cricket space, the operator was announced as the official betting partner for the West Indies cricket series last year.
Joe Tromans, Head of Commercial and Partnerships at Worcestershire County Cricket Board, said: “We are delighted to announce our partnership with Dafa Sports and welcome them as a new partner to the Worcestershire family.
“We are impressed by Dafabet’s commitment to providing safer betting services and its ambition to become the most innovative betting platform in the world. Therefore, as a leading global brand, we are able to invite them to become our official live streamer Partners, this is a huge boost to our goals on and off the field.”
John Cruces, Head of Sponsorship at Dafabet, added: “We are delighted to be working with Worcestershire to continue to grow our list of partners within the sporting community. In particular their live streaming platform can help us expand our reach globally.
“Like all our partners, we wish them the best of luck in the coming season.”
