Zitro announces the establishment of several new departments aimed at promoting sustainable development and corporate responsibility.
The initiative includes the creation of an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) corporate committee, an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) department, and a dedicated Integrated Management Systems (IMS) department. These specialized teams will lead Zitro in transforming towards a more sustainable business model.
According to reports, the ESG committee will be responsible for integrating sustainable practices into Zitro's operations, with a focus on environmental responsibility, social impact, and ethical governance. The EHS department will oversee environmental, health, and safety issues.
To support these initiatives, Zitro's IMS department has established four new sub-departments: the ISO Standards Management Office (IMO), the Climate Change Office (CCO), the Project Management Office (PMO), and the Jira Customization Office (JCO).
The ISO Standards Management Office (IMO) aims to ensure all ESG actions are certified and comply with relevant ISO standards. This office is responsible for the quality, documentation, maintenance, improvement, and coordination of ISO standards across the company. It also conducts internal audits of the ISO processes and manages external ISO audits.
In March 2024, the company's online gaming division, Zitro Digital, obtained approval from Peru's Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR) to operate as a licensed online slot machine supplier.
This expansion allows Peruvian players to access Zitro's games through licensed online casinos, such as Epic Kingdom, Mighty Hammer, Bashiba Link, 88 Link, Link King, and Link Me.
Zitro has also expanded its influence in Latin America by signing an agreement with PlayCity Casino, launching the first Wide Area Progressive in Panama, and installing over 100 servers in Grupo Caliente.
