GamCare announces the appointment of Alexa Roseblade as its new Chief of Staff, effective immediately. This new position is part of the GamCare leadership team, and Roseblade will be responsible for overseeing the charity's annual governance plan, operational delivery, and internal processes.
Additionally, she will focus on strengthening relationships and partnerships to advance GamCare's mission to support those affected by gambling-related harm.
Roseblade has been with GamCare for four years, previously managing the children and adolescent team, which includes the Youth Gambling Harm Prevention Program (YPGHPP).
Since April 2020, YPGHPP has collaborated with regional support providers to conduct workshops for 133,000 young people and 28,000 professionals. The program offers support services and digital information aimed at preventing gambling harm to youths.
Before joining GamCare, Roseblade held various positions at Cancer Research UK, responsible for supporting the charity's international operations, strategy, and philanthropic sectors.
This appointment follows the recent announcement that Tim Hodgetts will join GamCare as the new Operations Director in August 2024.
GamCare's Acting Chair, Margot Daly, comments: "I am delighted to welcome Alexa as our new Chief of Staff. She has been instrumental in our children and adolescent services department and has helped GamCare evolve into the charity it is today."
GamCare Chief of Staff, Alexa Roseblade, adds: "In my four years at GamCare, I have seen the vital work our dedicated staff do to support those in need. Not just through our helpline and treatment services, but also through our many effective prevention and education programs."
