La Liga has reached a new agreement with Luckia, making it its main gaming and entertainment partner.
As part of a deal reached before the new season, Luckia has obtained a three-year international agreement that will actively promote itself as La Liga's international sponsor in the Spanish and South American Mexican markets.
This is the biggest sponsorship commitment since La Liga added to its list of international sponsors, which includes Microsoft, El Corte Inglés, Mahou, and Puma.
La Liga's CEO Jorge de la Vega supports the sponsorship with Luckia, a "Spanish giant," which employs 2,500 people across eight countries. He stated: "We believe this partnership will bring us closer to our fans in Spain and Mexico, as we continue to create a safe, responsible entertainment environment together."
Luckia's Chief Marketing Officer David Plumi reiterated the company's commitment to promoting safer gambling at the end of the sponsorship announcement. Plumi highlighted that La Liga's digital audience has 200 million fans on global social networks, covering 16 platforms and 20 different languages.
"Joining the world’s top football league marks a new era for Luckia," said Chief Marketing Officer Plumi. "Our company is undergoing a massive international expansion, and this agreement solidifies our leading position in the Spanish market."
