According to insiders, after the Philippines announced the POGO ban, the following changes have occurred in visa processing:
1. Currently, only tourist or business visas without a history of POGO work visas can be normally renewed.
2. To renew after one year, you need to provide an address and reason for stay.
3. For downgrading POGO/IGL work visas, a valid flight ticket must be provided, and you must leave the country after the downgrade!
4. For tourist visas after downgrading, the history of POGO work visas must be verified during renewal.
5. The processing time for renewals, downgrades, and switching to other long-term visas after downgrading is affected and will slow down.
