After Entain released its second-half results, iGamingDaily held a conference to conduct deeper analysis on the operator’s future prospects, and why there's reason to remain optimistic as the company continues through a challenging period.
With the new CEO Gavin Isaacs taking office, the company enters a crucial period.
SBC editor Ted Menmuir described Entain as "the most speculative company in the gaming circle," and revealed that the company's focus next year will be on the UK market, ensuring growth in a heavily regulated environment.
He added that he believes they are "on the road to operational efficiency" after significantly improved second quarter results in 2024.
Menmuir continued, "If you're an entertainment investor, the UK is the main focus. Looking ahead, the company's leaders will continue to address compliance challenges and player journey issues with its UK brand portfolio.
"However, if we look back, we are now entering the second year of Entain's corporate restructuring in the UK. Moreover, Entain will be compared with its competitors, especially its PLC competitors in the UK."
One of Isaacs' main focuses as he starts leading the company is to ensure that the focus is on integration and not just on mergers and acquisitions.
