Supplier EveryMatrix announced a new partnership with operator DraftKings, providing its casino content to players in the Ontario market.
As part of the new agreement, EveryMatrix will offer a range of iGaming games from its internal studios through the SlotMatrix integration. The supplier is currently undergoing a recent expansion in North America, having launched in five U.S. states, initially debuting in Michigan and New Jersey in May. In early August, the company also expanded its Internet Vikings Partnership to West Virginia. The organization recently acquired FSB.
EveryMatrix Americas President Erik Nyman stated: "EveryMatrix is thrilled to extend our partnership with DraftKings to Canada and its largest province, Ontario. This means we now cover half of the population of the country, marking another significant milestone for the company. DraftKings is one of the largest iGaming and sports betting operators in North America, and together we are making another step towards full market penetration.”
For DraftKings, this latest development comes soon after the release of its financial results for the second quarter of 2024, which demonstrated the long-awaited profitability, thanks to a net revenue of $63.8 million. Quarterly revenue also grew by 26%, reaching $1.1 billion.
However, the brand still reported an operating loss, and it has now changed its approach to charging additional fees to some U.S. customers; recently, the brand's stock price has fallen.
