Regarding the issuance of the Dutch gambling license, iCasino CEO Paul Strikers stated, "Introducing such a globally recognized brand into the Dutch market for the first time, we are very excited.
We realized early on that operator compliance needed to be one of our top priorities, hence we sought assistance from BetComply and pursued their unparalleled expertise in the Netherlands.”
BetComply Chief Compliance Officer Mike de Graaff added, “In recent months, the Dutch market has attracted some major international brands, which highlights the opportunities for those with a deep understanding of regulatory obligations... As market conditions evolve, we will continue to support our partners, including iCasino.”
Paul Strikers resigned as the co-CEO of Novomatic Netherlands in 2020.
Strikers was in charge of the sales department, and Robert Meijer managed operations, joining him as co-CEO. They both worked at the Novomatic Netherlands headquarters in Waalwijk.
Seven years ago, after the Austrian giant Eurocoin Gaming acquired his business, Strikers began leading the rapidly growing sales business of the company.
Strikers commented, “I am delighted to reflect on the seven years of professionalism, passion, and innovation working with one of the world’s largest gaming technology companies.
After laying the groundwork for sustainable growth in Novomatic's offline and online technology business in the Netherlands, I look forward to new challenges and am grateful for the opportunities Novomatic provided me.”
