Peter & Sons stood out in this week's latest Slot of the Week feature with "Mutagenes".
Peter & Sons' Mutagenes game, a sci-fi themed slot released through Yggdrasil, is a 6x4 reel slot with 4,096 ways to win, offering a maximum win of up to 12,000 times the player's stake. The slot has high volatility and an RTP of 96.3%.

The game features cascading wins, meaning winning symbols disappear after awarding their payouts, making way for new symbols to drop from the top of the reels.
Each cascading event increases the win multiplier above the reels by 1. This multiplier enhances any subsequent wins but resets between spins.
Low-value symbols appear in the form of playing card suits, with clubs, diamonds, spades, and hearts joining the game. These symbols can offer payouts from 0.1 to 0.5 times the player's stake, depending on the number of paying combinations that appear in a single spin.
Moving up the paytable, syringes, hands, potions, and brains represent medium-value symbols, offering 0.2 to 0.9 times the stake.
High-value symbols are represented by purple and red mutant portraits. These symbols can offer 0.3 to 4 times the player's stake if the correct number of identical symbols land on a winning payline.
Additionally, an Infection feature can randomly appear in both the base and free spins game modes. This causes random low-value symbols to transform into high-value mutant portrait symbols.
A toggle scatter symbol is also available, triggering the free spins feature when three or more scatter symbols appear on the reels. Three, four, five, or six scatter symbols appearing in the same spin will respectively award seven, nine, eleven, or thirteen free spins.
In the free spins game mode, the win multiplier does not reset between spins, and the game mode cannot be retriggered as scatters do not appear in the free spins mode.
