Philippine Senator Risa Hontiveros revealed at a press conference that the Department of Foreign Affairs has reported Alice Guo ("POGO Mayor") and her family members Wesley, Shiela, and Cassandra Ong to Interpol.
Hontiveros pointed out that Interpol has officially taken notice of the Guo family, allowing the international police organization to act according to the Philippines' request.
Two days ago, it was also disclosed by Hontiveros that Alice Guo had left the country after an immigration surveillance notice was issued, traveling to Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia.
Currently, the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Department of Justice have not yet responded to the notification to Interpol. However, the involvement of the international organization is bound to help resolve this escape incident.
