"POGO Mayor" Guo Huaping's escape incident associates Cassandra Li Ong and Shiela Guo were transferred from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to the House of Representatives and the Senate respectively on Monday.
NBI Director Jaime Santiago stated that the transfer was approved by the Department of Justice (DOJ). He said, "However, we told them not to release these two individuals until they return to us, as the NBI has pending cases against them." He mentioned that four cases were filed against Cassandra Li Ong and two against Shiela Guo.
