Betfred announced that it will cease operations in Colorado on August 31, the same day the company also shut down its sports betting business in Ohio. A month earlier, the company had stopped operations in Maryland. It will become the fourth operator this year to exit the Colorado sports betting market.
Online customers are advised to log in and request a withdrawal before this date. Any unclaimed balances will be issued by check within 30 days after the cessation of operations. Retail customers with pending bets or winning tickets need to follow the mail-in redemption process.
Betfred continues to operate online in Arizona, Iowa, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. Customers can place retail bets at the Mohegan Casino inside the Virgin Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, and at the Portage Bay Bar inside the Silver Reef Casino Resort in Washington State.
