Golden Matrix Group (GMGI) is actively progressing plans to expand across the US, starting in New Jersey, through its Expanse Studios subsidiary.

GMGI confirmed on Wednesday that igaming content supplier Expanse is in currently in the process of applying for the New Jersey Casino Service Industry Enterprise Licence.
The group wants to serve as a B2B provider of its proprietary Expanse Studios content to regulated online casino and sportsbook operators in the Garden State.
Separately, GMGI has initiated discussions with “several” licensed gaming operators in the Garden State, it said, and is awaiting the licensing process to be finalised and for necessary approvals to be obtained.
GMGI intends to apply for other licences and servicing operator agreements in other US states where igaming has been regulated, it said. Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Michigan and Connecticut are among that cohort.
GMG also noted Expanse is “actively pursuing” licences in Romania and Croatia after securing a Bulgarian licence.
Operator Meridianbet is also part of Golden Matrix Group, with the company revealing it is gearing up for the launch of regulated Brazilian sports betting next year.
