International Game Technology PLC (IGT) through its subsidiary IGT Global Solutions Corporation has announced a 12-year contract extension with UAB Perlas Network ("Perlas") until 2035.
The renewed agreement includes upgrades to the lottery central retail system, featuring advanced software and user interfaces.
Since 1994, IGT has been a loyal customer, and its partnership with the lottery has continuously evolved. In 2023, IGT took a significant step by signing a contract with Perlas's subsidiary Euloto UAB to implement its advanced cloud-based remote gaming server. Additionally, the agreement requires the launch of at least 12 eInstant games annually.
UAB Perlas Network CEO Mindaugas Marcinkevičius stated that integrating IGT technology into Perlas's central system will help optimize and enhance the country's most popular and exciting lottery games. He eagerly anticipates the implementation of IGT's upgrades and is thrilled to extend the successful partnership for another 12 years.
IGT Global Lottery COO Jay Gendron commented on Perlas's technological improvements, emphasizing that they have fully utilized IGT's decades of leadership and experience in the lottery industry. The upgraded technology will introduce a management portal, allowing the lottery to comprehensively view and control all applications and backend functions. This, in turn, is expected to enhance the efficiency of the lottery and maximize profitability.
