Supplier Ainsworth Game Technology Limited (AGT) has released its financial report for the first half of 2024.
AGT reports that its revenue for the first half of 2024 was AUD 121.4 million (USD 82.2 million), a 15% decrease year-over-year. Basic EBITDA totaled AUD 26.8 million, down 8.8%.
Pre-tax profits fell 39% to AUD 14.3 million, while overall revenue from international gaming operations also declined, totaling AUD 104.7 million this year.
Revenue and division profits in AGT's Latin America division both decreased, with figures for 2024 at AUD 29.3 million and AUD 13.7 million respectively.
Although the profit for its Asia-Pacific division slightly improved from a loss of AUD 200,000 last year to AUD 1.6 million, overall revenue still slightly declined to AUD 19.1 million.
Compared to Latin America, AGT's North American market division profit increased from AUD 29.5 million in 2023 to AUD 32.6 million in 2024. AGT states that factors driving this growth include the successful launch of A-STARaptorTM and San FaTM games in multiple jurisdictions in North America, along with the anticipated sales volume from these launches; and continued strong performance in game operations, with new equipment installed in properties in Kentucky, Alabama, and Wyoming.
