Jamul Casino appoints Rocio Zorrilla as Hotel Director for new 16-story tower set to open in 2025

California's Jamul Casino has appointed Rocio Zorrilla as Hotel Director of the 16-story  tower set to open Spring of 2025. Bringing over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, she will lead Jamul's group of team members through opening and beyond, including day-to-day operations.

As the first senior role hired for the all-new hotel, Zorrilla will "set the standard for the talented group of executives to follow", says Jamul Casino.

According to Jamul Casino, for over two decades, Zorrilla has earned “stellar customer experience and professional relationships” in a wide variety of hospitality roles, including managerial positions at resorts around the world such as Casa de Campo Resort and Villas in the Dominican Republic and Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón in Florida.

Most recently, Zorrilla served as the Senior Manager of Hotel Operations at Yaamava’ Resort and Casino in Highland, California. Her background also includes leading diverse teams, guest experiences, and operational aspects at prestigious properties like the Sheraton Hotel in Salt Lake City and Montage Deer Valley

“With a solid foundation in front office management, guest services, and departmental leadership, Rocio’s primary goal is to enhance luxury hospitality standards and ensure top-tier guest satisfaction for Jamul Casino’s highly anticipated expansion,” the casino noted.
