
A Reals, a Brazilian sports betting platform that already has Rodrigo Faro and Gabriela Nery as ambassadors, will now bring Eduardo Barreto, better known as Edu Primitivo, an influencer with 30 million followers on his networks. The bet introduced him as a reinforcement for its team of stars.
Edu Primitivo is now part of the team of ambassadors for Reals, one of the most popular sports betting platforms in Brazil, elected by the SiGMA Awards in 2024.
The influencer is known for approaching people on the street or in public places simulating very funny situations. He has been so successful that he has accumulated about 30 million followers on his social networks.
“The Reals team is getting stronger and stronger. Eduardo is another significant reinforcement who comes to add alongside Rodrigo Faro and Gabriela Nery”, states Rafael Borges, country manager of Reals.
“This interaction with the public and experiences beyond bets is what we seek with our users. We will continue to strengthen this bond”, he says.
The first video of the influencer already wearing the Reals cap was approaching a candy seller. He asks to buy the candies with a R$ 100 note, but the merchant does not have change. Eduardo then gives the money to the street vendor, who reveals he wishes to buy a refrigerator and a baby stroller for his nine-month-old son.
The new member of Reals keeps pulling R$ 100 notes from his pocket until he reaches the amount of R$ 5,000, making the beneficiary emotional.
“Reals is walking through Rio de Janeiro and Brazil. Who knows, you might be next? Tell us in the comments which city we should appear in”, says Eduardo, in a video with more than 8,000 comments and 3 million views on Instagram.
Reals also supports Brazilian football, with master sponsorship to Coritiba and Amazonas. All matches feature activations, distributions of gifts, and tickets for the fans of the teams.
