LEMG will accredit lottery game testing laboratories in Minas Gerais

The State Lottery of Minas Gerais (LEMG) has decided to accredit game testing laboratories within its scope of action. The agency launched this Tuesday (3) the Public Consultation/Audience Notice LEMG No. 001/2024, in which it will enable companies to perform the verifications of platforms and games. They have until July 24 to contribute to the process, which will be entirely online.

The State Lottery of Minas Gerais (LEMG), as a protagonist in the regulated games industry in Brazil, advances in new initiatives to expand and develop its game portfolio.

Seeking the evolution of operational excellence standards, with the publication of the Public Consultation/Audience Notice LEMG No. 001/2024, the agency began the work of elaborating the process for future accreditation of Technical Testing and Certification Laboratories for the official lottery games in the State.

These laboratories will be responsible for conducting rigorous conformity assessments of the products and services offered to bettors, in all functionalities of the lottery systems, betting terminals, online platforms, and other related components.

Through precise and independent technical verifications, the certifications issued by them will prove the integrity and security of the games, ensuring the absence of any margin for fraud, according to the highest international quality standards.

Aligned with the "Strategic Planning 2023-2024" of the institution, with a priority focus on innovation, this initiative is part of the business continuity dynamics, seeking to enable another century of uninterrupted operations, from the achievement of maximum efficiency in the commercial exploitation of regulated games with contracted concessionaires.

It is, ultimately, the permanent challenge for the good daily management of the business, diligently improving the result of the official lottery operations in the market.
