Raspadinha® boosts retail and reaches 1,200 sales points in Minas Gerais

With only eight months in existence and over 1,200 points of sale throughout the state of Minas Gerais, the new Raspadinha®, an instant game from the Mineira Lottery and MSL Consortium, has stimulated an increase in sales for retailers. With affordable prices and much higher chances of winning, the number of lucky winners has sextupled from January to June this year, with prizes that can reach up to 250,000 reais.

With no initial cost for retailers, the game can increase weekly/annual profit revenue for merchants with a 9% commission on each Raspadinha® sale. The proposal is to have visibility at the point of sale, in addition to leveraging the positive return of a winning customer who may invest in more products at the same location.

With good adherence to different points of sale of any segment, the ticket can be sold in small businesses, newsstands, supermarkets, and pharmacies, for example. Without the need for stock, the product is a lure to attract new customers and promote greater movement for the establishment.

With attractive capillarity and easy implementation, the game has also reached the product range of some of the main bakeries in the largest regions of Minas.











 



An agreement between Amipão (formed by the Union of Bakery Industries of the State of Minas Gerais, Sip, and the Minas Gerais Association of Bakery Industry, Amip) and Raspadinha®, is offering, for the first 100 bakeries that close the contract and start selling the instant lottery ticket, 3 months of bread packaging. For establishments associated with Amipão, this period has been extended to 4 months.

Even with the inevitable digitalization of processes as one of the main trends to stimulate the market, it is undeniable that physical points of sale still play a crucial role in the customer experience. The focus should also be on a purchase with more convenience, in addition to sensory elements to create pleasant and comfortable environments throughout the journey. 

Currently, there are four games available for sale: ‘Super Premiada’, ‘Boa Sorte’, ‘7 da Sorte’, and ‘Jogo da Velha’. With an attractive look, the ticket values also catch the consumer's attention and it is possible to acquire the Raspadinha® for R$ 2, R$ 5, and R$ 10.

An instrument for generating employment, income, and economic circulation for the State, Raspadinha® also includes a transfer to government social projects. From the total net revenue, 21% must be allocated to the government, benefiting and enabling the inauguration of schools, daycare centers, hospitals, as well as sanitation and urbanization works.
