The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) announced Kaizen Gaming, one of the world's largest GameTech companies, and its premium brand Betano as the official global sponsor of the Europa League and Conference League starting from the 2024/25 season until the 2026/27 season.
The new agreement, which was officially signed in Monaco before the draws of the UEFA men's club competition, builds on the successful sponsorship program that made Betano the first betting partner of UEFA EURO 2024.
Stoiximan, the brand Kaizen Gaming operates in Greece and Cyprus, will be visible as a sponsor of the competition in these countries.
As part of this partnership, the Kaizen Foundation and the UEFA Foundation for Children joined forces in support of the 10,000 Smiles project, which ultimately meant that 10,000 children from disadvantaged backgrounds attended 40 matches in ten stadiums during UEFA EURO 2024.
Aris Dimarakis, vice-CEO of Kaizen Gaming, said: "During UEFA EURO 2024, we formed a flawless partnership with UEFA, elevating the experience of millions of fans worldwide who enjoyed the thrill of watching one of the most prestigious sports events in the world.”
"Building on that success, we are joining forces again to support the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Conference League. As Kaizen Gaming continues to grow, offering unique entertainment through responsible gaming, this partnership with one of the most respected sports organizations in the world is a testament to our progress and the ongoing hard work of our team.”
Guy-Laurent Epstein, marketing director of UEFA, added: "We are excited to announce our partnership with Kaizen Gaming and their brand Betano for the next three seasons of the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Conference League.”
"After witnessing the impressive scale at which they activated their sponsorship of UEFA EURO 2024 with us this summer, we eagerly anticipate how Betano will capture the passion of European club football to provide even more excitement to fans.”
The new phase of the 36-team UEFA Europa League begins with the first round on September 25, while the UEFA Conference League, which now also includes 36 clubs, starts on October 3.
