Spain.- With the purpose of enabling companies in Extremadura, particularly those in the gaming sector, to implement preventive measures that protect their workers and increase their competitiveness against future challenges, the Board of this city convened grants on the matter.
The Board of Extremadura launched a call for grants to promote safety and health at work within companies, with a particular emphasis on the gaming sector. Thus, last Friday, August 23, Decree 72/2024 was published, which establishes the bases for granting aid aimed at improving working conditions and reducing accidents in companies in the region.

Among the beneficiaries of these grants are both companies and self-employed individuals with employees, excluding sectors such as mining and public administrations. The aids may be used for the replacement of work equipment or the adaptation of infrastructures to minimize occupational risks.
