The Mexican lottery adds a new product to its online sales site.
Mexico.- The National Lottery of Mexico (Lotenal) has announced the addition of the Gana Gato product draw to its online platform. The institution expands the number of products on alegríalotería.com, its online sales channel, by launching the new draw starting today, June 11.
The official online sales site has been enabled since August 2022, which "has allowed to strengthen its contests and draws in favor of the social programs of the Government of Mexico," explained the institution.
The Gana Gato is played on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 9 PM, and you can participate with MX$10 (USD0.5). To win, it is necessary to match from 1 line with a base prize of MX$10 (USD0.5), up to 8 lines to obtain first place, which consists of a minimum guaranteed purse of MX$300,000 (USD16,200).
Since its launch on November 4, 2006, the Gana Gato draw has celebrated 2707 draws and, in the last 10 years, more than 14 million people have been awarded prizes.
The National Lottery of Mexico (Lotenal) must disclose the Security Document through which compliance with the provisions of the General Law on Protection of Personal Data in Possession of Obligated Subjects and the General Guidelines on Protection of Personal Data for the Public Sector is achieved. The order was made by the National Institute of Transparency, Access to Information and Protection of Personal Data (INAI).
When presenting the matter to the parliamentary Plenum, the commissioner of the INAI, Norma Julieta del Río Venegas, highlighted that this review resource reflects the importance of institutions being prepared to protect the personal data of Mexicans.
