The rise of Kambi's «Bet Builder» was one of the highlights, with more than 17 million unique bets made in the two tournaments.
A total of 18 percent of the bets on the Eurocup 2024 were made through the bet builder, compared to 8 percent of the 2020 tournament (which actually took place in 2021), a figure eclipsed by the bets of the Copa América, where almost 25 percent of all bets made were through the bet builder.
Bettors of the Copa América also opted for larger combinations and more matches: Kambi's data shows that 15 percent of the bets created for the Copa América contained four selections, compared to 8 percent for the Eurocup 2024.
It was also observed that it was more likely that bettors would return and bet in later stages of the tournament, which underscores the enormous potential for user engagement that offering a high-quality bet builder provides, especially one with the flexibility to allow combinations not only within the same event but also between different events and sports.
Bets on players increased across Kambi's network in the Eurocup 2024 and Copa América, with "shots on goal by players" among the top five pre-match offers in both tournaments, while Kambi continues to expand its range of complex markets, including "player who scores or assists" and "player who scores from outside the area."
