The measure seeks to provide more agile access to players.
Costa Rica.- The Board of Social Protection (JPS) of Costa Rica announced that Lotto, 3 Monazos, and New Times, the electronic lottery games, can be purchased online through its platform.
Esmeralda Britton González, president of the JPS, explained that the goal of this measure is to offer more options to buyers, providing more comfortable and agile access to the institution's products.

“We are happy to be able to innovate and improve our offer to the public. We know that many were waiting for the possibility to buy these products online,” commented Britton. She added: “We are moving forward and modernizing our platform, supported both by traditional sales points and the new online mode.”
It should be noted that to make a purchase online, users must register on the platform and provide their IBAN account to facilitate the payment of prizes. On the other hand, although this online option has been added, sales at authorized sales points will continue to be available at Max Points distributed throughout the country.
