Nicaragua.- The National Lottery of Nicaragua donated an amount of C$25m (USD671.583) to strengthen the sports programs and child protection initiatives developed by the Nicaraguan Institute of Sports (IND) and the Ministry of the Family (Mifan), corresponding to the profits of June.
In a ceremony led by Virginia Lorena Molina Hurtado, general manager of the Lottery, a check for C$12.5m (USD335.791) was presented to the Nicaraguan Institute of Sports (IND), and another check for C$12.5m (USD335.791) to the Ministry of the Family, Adolescence and Childhood (MIFAN).
With this delivery, a total of C$147m (USD 3.9m) was brought closer to both institutions, achieving 50 percent of the annual goal in profit distribution.
“We are filled with joy to see these athletes succeeding in their disciplines, we take this moment to congratulate the delegation that represented us in the Central American Handball Games, and the Runners-up who joined us this morning. Remember that, by purchasing ordinary lottery, scratch cards, and Instacash games, we can continue generating profits for the social programs implemented by our good government,” said Molina.

Molina took the opportunity to greet and congratulate all the teachers of Nicaragua on their day: “Your work as a teacher makes a difference in the lives of your students and in the population.
