This is a long-term strategic alliance to help develop sports in the country.
Peru.- With the goal of promoting the development of inclusive sports in Peru, Apuesta Total supports Peruvian athletes at the Paris Paralympic Games.
Since 2022, the company has been a sponsor of the National Paralympic Association of Peru (ANPP), affiliated with the International Olympic Committee. Gonzalo Pérez, CEO of Apuesta Total, has indicated that this strategic alliance is "long-term".
This year, the Peruvian athletes who will carry the flag will be Pilar Jáuregui and Jorge Arcela, who have excelled in recent competitions in para badminton and shooting sports, respectively. In addition, the parataekwondo athlete Angélica Espinoza, who won the gold medal in Tokyo 2020, will be part of the delegation. Her victory marked the end of a 20-year drought without a gold medal for Peru in the Paralympic Games.
