Spain.- The 12th edition of the Andalusian Expo Congress of Torremolinos will be held on September 18 and 19 at the Exhibition and Congress Palace. The event is organized by the Andalusian Federation of Associations of Recreational Machines, Halls and Leisure (ANMARE), the Andalusian Association of Marketers and Distributors of Recreational Machines (ACODISA) and the Andalusian Association of Game Rooms, Recreational and Leisure (ANDESA).
The goal of the meeting will be to bring together manufacturers, distributors, operators, and other workers from the sector from all over Spain, and representatives from various regional administrations, such as the Junta de Andalucía. The proposal combines a commercial aspect, and the reflective and documentary with the intervention of personalities related to the sector.
The presentation format will follow the line of previous editions, reinforcing the exhibition of machines. The congress will take place over two full days, with hours from 10 to 19 on September 18, and from 10 to 17 on September 19.
From the organization, it was conveyed that they hope to "contribute to the recovery and revitalization of a business and labor sector that suffered very directly the impact of Covid-19 with prolonged closures and restrictions of all kinds, in addition to the economic crisis situation from which its effects are still suffered."
The Junta de Andalucía through its Private Gaming Statistics, prepared by the Ministry of Economy, Finance and European Funds, presented the report corresponding to 2023.
According to the study, Andalusians spent a total of EUR2.287m on gaming last year. This figure represents the sum of spending on type B machines, bingos, bets, and casinos, which would imply an increase of 5.4 percent compared to the EUR2.169,22m invested in 2022.
