Chairman of the Multinational Village Homeowners Association, Julio Templonuevo

In Paranaque City, Philippines, a homeowners association (HOA) stated on Wednesday (September 4) that despite a ban, some Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) centers within this gated community are still operating.

Julio Templonuevo, chairman of the Multinational Village HOA, mentioned that the POGO operations in their village have decreased following the decision announced by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

Templonuevo told Kapihan sa Manila Bay: "We think it might have a partial impact, but it hasn't reached 100% because some POGOs are still present."

"Generally, since the government directive in May, things are somewhat okay. Homeowners are now more confident to report," he said.
