According to sources from GMA News, the dismissed mayor of Banban City, Alice Guo, will return to the Philippines today (September 5th).
Meanwhile, Philippine Senator Raffy Tulfo stated that Alice Guo will take a chartered flight RP-C6188 from Jakarta and is expected to arrive in Manila around 6:18 PM.
As reported by John Consulta on Unang Balita, the Minister of Interior Benhur Abalos and the Chief of the Philippine National Police, General Marbil, arrived in Indonesia early Thursday morning to coordinate the repatriation of Alice Guo.
A team from the Philippine Bureau of Immigration and the National Immigration Administration, part of the Department of Justice, also arrived in Indonesia after midnight to handle the deportation of Alice Guo.
The incident involving Ms. Guo's deportation is expected to be similar to that of her sister Shiela Guo and another individual, Cassandra Li Ong, who were apprehended by authorities on August 22, 2024.
