Katherine denied any romantic involvement, emphasizing that she was only Wu's personal translator and explained that her company, Whirlwind Corporation, only leased land located in Porac, Pampanga to Lucky South 99 and was not directly involved in the operations.
Moreover, Katherine also admitted to having business dealings with the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) and Lucky South 99 but firmly denied being a POGO operator herself. The House of Representatives requested her to further clarify her financial dealings and specific business with Duanren Wu.
