Sportradar’s artificial intelligence-led simulations involving its network of 900 sportsbook operators have predicted Kansas City Chiefs to win the NFL for a third successive season.
The company’s 50,000 simulations of the 18-week, 272-game regular season saw the Chiefs emerge as the champion in 7,105 instances, indicating a 14.2 per cent probability.
San Francisco 49’ers were predicted to win the championship in 12.6 per cent of the algorithm run-throughs, with the Baltimore Ravens nine per cent.
The simulations are built on NFL data and team odds for winning the 2024-25 season.
The predictions estimate team strength and expected scoring, effectively navigating through the regular season and play-offs with a focus on empirical data.
