In 2024, the emphasis is on training aimed at supervisors and educational directors.
Argentina.- The Rio Negro Lottery and the Ministry of Education and Human Rights of the province continue to advance the project "Youth Preventors in Rionegrinian schools", which since last year promotes responsible gaming among high school students.
This year, the commissioner of the Rio Negro Lottery, Jorge Manzo, and the Minister of Education and Human Rights, Patricia Campos, have renewed and expanded the existing agreement.
One of the main new features for this year is the incorporation of specialized training in responsible gaming and online betting, aimed at supervisors and educational directors. The purpose is to equip these officials with effective tools to prevent risk behaviors among adolescents.
The program, which has been very well received in the schools of the province, focuses on the prevention of illegal gambling and on raising awareness among young people about the dangers associated with the use of unregulated betting platforms. This year, a new training stage for supervisors and directors is included, with the aim that they acquire the necessary knowledge to then transmit it to teachers and students.

"Responsible gaming and online betting represent challenges that we cannot overlook in the education of our youth," commented Jorge Manzo, commissioner of the Lottery. He added: "With this expansion of the project, we seek to provide supervisors and directors with the necessary tools to address these issues in the school environment."
