According to official media in the Philippines, on September 6, four Chinese men who were kidnapped in Pasay City were successfully rescued in Batangas City.
The victims are 32-year-old Lan Lai, 23-year-old Wang Qing Feng, 31-year-old Nang Ze Cheng, and Chen Wei Wei.
According to police investigations, the victims were kidnapped by compatriots in Pasay City, forcibly stuffed into an unidentified vehicle, then blindfolded and bound, and transported to Batangas City.
However, they managed to escape and sought help from a security guard, who then reported the incident to the police. The victims were taken to the Batangas City police station, and the case is still under further investigation.
