Gross sports betting revenue in New York, US, rose 26.9 per cent year-on-year in August to US$125m.
However, the $125m figure represented a decline of 10.9 per cent month-on-month from July’s $140.3m.
The latest revenue came from handle of $1.4bn in August, which was 29 per cent up on August 2023’s $1.1bn.
The handle also climbed 13.8 per cent month-on-month from July’s $1.3bn.
DraftKings was the operator with which the most bets were placed in New York in July, the figure at $526.6m, which topped FanDuel’s $511.6m.
However, FanDuel’s revenue of $52.6m beat DraftKings’ $43.3m for the month.
