The deadline for envelope submissions will be extended by more than 40 days, moving from September 9 to October 22.
Brazil.- The Official Gazette of the State of São Paulo published a notice from the Contracting Commission of the Secretary of Investment Societies that modifies the date of the Public Session for the Reception of Envelopes for the tender of the public service lottery concession.
The envelope submission date, initially scheduled for September 9, was moved to October 22, between 10 and 11 AM, at the headquarters of B3, the São Paulo stock exchange. The Public Contest Session will be held on October 28, at 2 PM, also at the B3 headquarters.
Deadlines were also extended for requesting clarifications, in which interested parties can submit challenges to the Notice until October 17, and the publication of a reasoned decision by the Contracting Commission on a possible non-acceptance of the documents, for October 25.
The concessionaire of São Paulo State Lottery will be able to offer services that will be in the form of predictions (specific, sports, numerical) and instant lottery (like a scratch card, for example), in both physical and virtual environments. The choice will be in the hands of the winner of the concession auction.
Studies for the concession of the São Paulo state lotteries show the possibility of the service existing physically and virtually. More than 11,000 sales points could be installed throughout the state, either in existing stores or in spaces dedicated exclusively to offering lottery services.
According to technical studies, the spaces can be distributed according to the administrative regions of São Paulo. From studies on the installation of one sales point per 2,750 inhabitants, it is estimated that around 5,500 will be installed just in the capital. The expectation is that the installation of sales points by the concessionaire will maximize the expansion of the service.

In addition to the estimated number of non-dedicated sales points, the distributor must install at least 31 exclusive sales points distributed in the administrative regions of São Paulo. The goal is to serve as a concept store for the services provided and to reach all regions of the state.
