Other personalities from the field were also present, such as Regis Dudena, Secretary of Prizes and Betting of the Ministry of Finance. Companies like Pay4Fun, GLI, and Genius Sports also attended the summit.
“Events like this are fundamental to promote debate on issues that all spheres of society value. We are very happy to be part of the event, which values justice and carries out a global work in favor of integrity in sports,” comments Anderson Nunes, head of business at the Betting House.
The Brazilian Sports Integrity Summit is an event held by the International Institute of Governance and Risk (GovRisk), in partnership with Genius Sports and Entain. The purpose of the convention is to bring together professionals to discuss the role of technology and innovation as allies in defining strategies to combat sports manipulation, in order to ensure transparency and integrity in sports.
Panels were presented with the themes: “Empowering Athletes: Navigating Integrity”; “Fair Play and Vulnerabilities in Sports”; “The Road Ahead: Future Directions in Sports Integrity and Global Strategies to Maintain Sports Integrity”, among others. The lectures promoted the first discussions on the regulatory landscape since the enactment of the Brazilian Sports Betting Law.
