Gross sports betting handle in Tennessee, US, climbed by 41.4 per cent year-on-year in August to US$342m.
Up from $241.8m a year ago, the latest figure from the Tennessee Sports Wagering Council is also an improvement month-on-month, from July’s $271.5m.
Tax revenues for the state amounted to $6.3m in August, up 41.4 per cent year-on-year from $4.5m a year ago.
The figure also climbed month-on-month by 26 per cent from July’s $5m.
