The authorities of the Lottery for Social Action Works held a meeting with provincial officials to advance the creation of a joint agenda.
Argentina.- The Government of Santa Cruz, through the Ministry of Social Development, Equality and Integration, held a meeting with authorities of the Lottery for Social Action Works (LOAS), with the purpose of analyzing the administrative and building status of the lottery, as well as the profits designated for Social Development and Health.
In the context of a coordinated effort of the different areas of the provincial government, the minister of the Ministry of Social Development, Equality and Integration, Luisa Cárdenas, received Juan Maier, president of LOAS, who was accompanied by the board members Raúl Cárdenas and Claudio Seguel, from the Ministry of Health and Environment, and the Ministry of Social Development, respectively.
The objective of the meeting was to discuss the administrative and building status of the lottery, as well as the profits designated for social development and health.
Minister Cárdenas committed to visiting the Lottery soon to firsthand see the state of the institution and its staff.
For his part, President Maier assured that he is committed to continuing to recover the image and credibility of the institution, increasing the profits for social action and health programs, and preventing pathological gambling.

Additionally, the creation of control mechanisms to prevent harmful practices, especially in illegal online gambling, was addressed. Board member Seguel reiterated the commitment to continue working on the growth and joint support with the Ministry of Social Development.
