Spain.- The Aragonese Association of Gamblers in Rehabilitation (AZAJER) and the Federation of Neighborhood Associations of Zaragoza have been granted subsidies to carry out programs on the prevention of problematic gambling.
The Official Bulletin of Aragon announced the list of funded projects for this cause. AZAJER will receive a subsidy of EUR25,039.13 for its «Continuity Program of mutual aid groups», aimed at people with disorders related to gambling, alcohol, drugs, and other addictions. The total budget of the project is EUR52,158.58, while the amount requested was EUR40,000.

On the other hand, another beneficiary is the Federation of Neighborhood Associations of Zaragoza. This city, which is part of the community of Aragon, will benefit from EUR4,000 for its program to prevent gambling addiction in the neighborhoods of Zaragoza.
This project, which also focuses on prevention among young people, addresses issues related to betting houses and online betting. The total cost of the project is EUR25,000, an amount that was requested and granted in full.
