Chester Racecourse is delighted to announce new partnerships with Virgin Bet and LiveScore Bet, the latter being an active force in the sports betting industry as part of the LiveScore Group.
As part of this collaboration, Virgin Bet will become the title sponsor for the Autumn Racing Food and Beverage Weekend event on September 13 and 14. The event will now be renamed the Virgin Bet Autumn Racing Food and Beverage Weekend.
Saturday's races feature a top-tier racing day with seven thrilling races, boasting a total prize pool of £290,000. Virgin Bet and LiveScore Bet will sponsor three main races, including the prestigious Listed Stand Cup Stakes and the Grade 2 Heritage Handicap Watergate Cup.
As staunch supporters of horse racing, the LiveScore Group established its partnership with one of the world's oldest racecourses last month, when Virgin Bet and LiveScore Bet sponsored two races on the Powell Jewellery Ladies Day: the Virgin Bet Chester Championship and the LiveScore Bet Handicap Championship.
Virgin Bet's personal safety partner, WalkSafe, will also participate in the sponsorship of the racing weekend. This initiative will enhance the experience and safety of all attendees at Chester Racecourse, aiming to create a more inclusive and friendly environment for everyone.
WalkSafe is an app that provides various safety measures through user devices, allowing users to feel more confident and secure while traveling to and from the racecourse.
