Jefferies analysts state that according to the latest market data, Flutter Entertainment's US gambling brand FanDuel continues to outperform its competitors in the United States.
This week, the stocks of Paddy Power and Betfair's owner were warmly pursued in London, rising 1.75% to 16,315 pence.
In August, FanDuel accounted for 42% of the total gambling revenue (GGR), although it was slightly down year-over-year, it still maintained a dominant position.
Its main competitors, Draftkings and the Anglo-American joint venture BetMGM, held 32% and 6% of the GGR share, respectively.
Jefferies noted that FanDuel's leading position allows it to benefit from the continued growth of the US online sports betting (OSB) market.
The analysts pointed out that American football remains the most important sport in US sports betting, expected to generate 26% of the OSB betting volume and GGR by 2023.
