Many POGO work visa holders are currently asking how to apply for a Philippine visa from a third country, here's my answer:
1) Fly to Thailand and get a visa on arrival
2) Apply for Thailand's digital nomad/remote worker/freelancer visa (for those attending the following activities in Thailand: Muay Thai courses, Thai cooking classes, sports training, medical, seminars, music festivals)
3) Go to the Philippine Consulate in Thailand to apply for a Philippine tourist visa
4) Come to the Philippines and switch to a Philippine Special Economic Zone Permanent Green Card
I personally, being on a gaming visa, arrived in Thailand last week, and if all goes well, I could be back in the Philippines as early as next month.
