This is a cooperative action between the Provincial Credit and Benefits Fund and the Revenue Agency to prevent, detect, sanction, and eradicate illegal gambling in the province.

Argentina.- The Provincial Credit and Benefits Fund and the Catamarca Revenue Agency (ARCA) signed an important cooperation agreement to prevent, detect, and eradicate illegal online gambling in the province of Catamarca.

This agreement, signed by the president of La Caja, Daniela Díaz, and the executive director of ARCA, Pedro Ernesto Monferran Marchetti, aims to protect the young people of Catamarca from the risks of unauthorized betting through the web and social networks.

Among the agreed actions are the exchange of information, joint investigations, training, and educational programs for teenagers on the responsible use of technologies. Awareness campaigns will also be carried out, and agreements will be signed with public and private entities.

It is worth remembering that in June, an Integral Interministerial Board was formed in Catamarca with the goal of implementing actions to prevent illegal gambling in children and adolescents.

This Integral Board for the Prevention of Illegal Gambling was formed with representatives from the General Government Advisory; the Ministry of Education; the Ministry of Social Development represented by the Mental Health and Childhood secretariats and the Catamarca Credit Fund.

Furthermore, with the main objective of providing effective tools for the prevention and management of problems associated with gambling and online betting, especially among young people, in August the training "Illegal is not a game" was held, driven by the Catamarca Credit and Benefits Fund, with more than 500 participants.
