Through this collaboration agreement, among other projects, research, professional internships for students, and various events will be carried out.
Chile.- The Faculty of Economics and Business of the Universidad Santo Tomás Santiago (UST) signed a collaborative agreement with the Superintendence of Casinos and Games. Through the agreement, projects and programs will be carried out within the framework of activities that can be developed jointly, such as research, professional internships for students, and the participation and co-organization of events.
From the university, it was stated that "this collaborative agreement will seek to coordinate efforts and interests between both institutions, in order to optimize the implementation of projects and programs within the framework of activities that can be developed jointly, according to their areas of application and performance, considering the legal regulation of each of the parties".

The presentation of the alliance was attended by the rector of the Universidad Santo Tomás Santiago, Elsa Echeverría, and the superintendent Vivien Villagrán, who were accompanied by the dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Enrique Paris Hovitz, the national director of the School of Commercial Engineering, Catherine Korn, the director of the Public Accountant and Auditor career, Fernando Mejido, the director of the Commercial Engineering career, Jorge Miranda, and academic researchers.
Echeverría pointed out that the agreement "reflects the commitment we have as an institution with the Linkage with the Environment, as it allows us to know how students connect with the labor reality they will face once they graduate".
